Leave Rules
- No leave of absence is granted except on previous written application from parents or guardians and that too for valid reasons.
- In case of absence without leave, the student on returning to school must produce the leave application duly signed by the parent / guardian. A student returning to school after recovering from a contagious or infectious disease, should also produce a doctor’s certificate of fitness permitting him/her to do so. On failure to produce such a certificate, the school authorities are entitled to send the student back.
- All students are expected to attend school on the re-opening day, after each vacation. Students who return late without prior leave application will be fined, Rs. 10/- per day of absence. Those absents due to illness should present a medical certificate before they are admitted to the class. In case a student remains absent from school for more than 15 days his/ her name will be struck off from the rolls. Re-admission, if granted, may be done on the payment of a Readmission Fee of Rs. 100/-
- Parents are requested not to ask their children to leave the school before the classes are over, except in case of great necessity, in such case prior permission should be obtained in writing from the Principal, wherever possible.
- It may please be noted that children will not be sent home in an emergency with any person other than the parent/guardian during school hours without a written request from the parent or guardian.
- Students who are coming late, after the stipulated time, shall be allowed to attend the class only with the prior sanction of the competent authority. But they shall not be given attendance.
Every New pupil must bring:
- School Leaving Certificate, if the pupil comes from a recog
nized school.
- The original Panchayat/Municipal Birth Certificate.
Pupils applying for admission are, as a rule, subject to an
entrance examination held at the beginning of the academic
year. They must bring their own writing materials.
A candidate who has studied in recognized school cannot be
admitted without a School Leaving Certificate from the school he/
she last attended. If he/she comes from a school outside the state
of Kerala it has to be counter signed by the Educational Officer of
the place in which the school is situated.
School Leaving certificate will be issued to only those stu-
dents who have settled all their dues. Application for leaving certifi-
cate should be made in writing by the parent. A fee or Rs. 30/- is
charged for issuing a school leaving certificate or for extract from
the school General Register.
